Responsibilities

Oversee produce department workflows; manage inventory, pricing, and product placement
Coordinate training, manage schedules, and provide leadership to team members
Monitor product freshness, remove spoilage, and maintain cleanliness
Review sales and labor metrics; implement strategies to meet department goals
Create attractive produce displays and execute product placement strategies
Step into staff roles as needed, including opening, closing, and covering shifts

Qualification

Retail produce experienceCustomer service techniquesSupervisory experienceInventory managementVerbal proficiency in English

Required

Prior experience in retail produce and strong customer service techniques
Verbal proficiency in English
Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, squat, bend, and lift/carry boxes up to 70 pounds
Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including produce coolers and wet racks
Flexible availability across various shifts and locations including weekends and evenings

Preferred

Supervisory experience is a plus
