Client Strategist
QRY is a media-buying agency that specializes in scaling retail brands. The Client Strategist will manage a portfolio of accounts, focusing on building client relationships, developing marketing strategies, and ensuring project execution to drive client retention and growth.

Responsibilities
You are the primary point of contact and act as a trusted marketing advisor for 6-8 accounts, bringing clarity, confidence, and solutions to every interaction
You lead client meetings end-to-end, circulating agendas in advance, capturing decisions, and closing the loop quickly
You build durable relationships through proactive check-ins, succinct written updates, and a steady focus on outcomes
You take the time to deeply understand each client’s business model, goals, and challenges, ensuring that our strategies align with their overarching objectives
You co-own strategic planning with the Associate Media Director and media leads by prioritizing initiatives, sequencing the roadmap, and aligning scope and timing across teams
You maintain a testing and innovation agenda, partnering with media leads on hypotheses and rollout decisions, and you document outcomes with clear next steps
You own ClickUp and status artifacts (including Slack and status sheets) to keep deliverables visible, owners accountable, and timelines on track
You manage priorities proactively, maintain the backlog, and run clean timelines so work ships on time and to spec
You monitor budgets and pacing, manage risks and changes early, and keep stakeholders aligned
You lead weekly and monthly reporting and you tell a clear story about what happened, why it happened, and what we will do next
You maintain reporting hygiene and readability, ensuring data integrity and clear recommendations tied to business impact
You guide internal teams, including media and search strategists, to ensure alignment on strategy, execution, and performance goals
You create fast feedback loops (including brainstorms, weekly syncs, and creative reviews) to drive progress
You ensure cross-functional teams work efficiently together and balance day-to-day execution with big-picture strategy
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of successful hands-on account management experience in an agency environment
Proven ability to lead meetings, present performance data confidently, and implement effective tactics to drive results
Bachelor's degree in marketing or in a related field
Experience being seen as a leader in your team, driving forward initiatives, ideas, and feedback
Top-notch communication skills and comfortable leading executive-level conversations and handling tough news with candor and clarity
Master of time management, able to juggle multiple tasks effectively for you and your team
Experience with a project management system in a previous role, such as Asana, Wrike, Monday, or ClickUp
Genuine interest in the retail, advertising, and agency space
Creative problem solver, ready to jump in and troubleshoot with creative solutions
Genuine passion for learning and staying updated with the latest trends in digital advertising and marketing
Understanding of the importance of a clean and quiet work environment suitable for video conferencing and respect for digital etiquette
