Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks aligned with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
Apply dimensional data modeling including Star, Snowflake, Galaxy schema etc. to develop business reports, dashboards, and advanced analytics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions
Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all layers of the data architecture
Support Power BI and other analytics teams with well-structured data models and efficient query performance
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Databricks jobs and workflows

Required

Experience as a Lead Data Architect
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake
Deep understanding of Medallion Architecture principles (Bronze–Silver–Gold design)
Experience in data modeling for analytics and reporting use cases
Good understanding of ETL/ELT design, data governance, and performance tuning
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Azure Data Services (ADF, Data Lake, etc.)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder required

Preferred

Experience with Power BI report development or strong collaboration with BI teams
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Understanding of data security, lineage, and quality frameworks
