Austin Commercial is one of the nation’s largest construction companies, and they are seeking a Campus Recruiter to develop and execute recruitment strategies targeting high-potential candidates from colleges and universities. The role involves building relationships with universities, coordinating campus events, and managing internship programs to enhance the employer brand and attract top talent.

Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Campus Recruitment Strategies: Design and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent from colleges and universities, including campus events, career fairs, information sessions, and networking activities
Build Relationships with Universities: Establish and maintain strong relationships with career services offices, faculty, and student organizations to enhance our presence on campus and increase engagement with potential candidates. Work in tandem with the EO partnered (“School Leader”) with each University/College to build and maintain those relationships
Coordinate Campus Events: Plan and coordinate campus events, including career fairs, information sessions, workshops, and networking events, to promote Austin Commercial as an employer of choice and connect with students
Plan, Develop and Manage Internship Program: Plan the Spring, Summer and Fall Internship Programs. Work with Division Leaders, Managers, Intern Mentors and Support Staff to develop an internship program that provides a meaningful and worthwhile professional experience to include social events, jobsite tours, professional development/training and other events that will expand on the intern’s skillset and experience
Source and Engage Candidates: Utilize various channels such as campus job boards, social media, and alumni networks to identify and engage with potential candidates, including interns, recent graduates, and early career professionals
Candidate Screening and Selection: Review resumes, conduct and coordinate interviews, and assess candidate qualifications to identify top talent and facilitate the hiring process in collaboration with hiring managers and HR
Promote Employer Brand: Enhance Austin Commercial's employer brand on college campuses by promoting our values, culture, career opportunities, and employee benefits through presentations, materials, and online platforms
Track and Analyze Recruitment Metrics: Track and analyze recruitment metrics, including candidate engagement, event attendance, and hiring outcomes, to evaluate the effectiveness of campus recruitment efforts and make data-driven decisions
Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep up to date on trends in campus recruitment, student demographics, and university partnerships to continuously improve recruitment strategies and stay competitive
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in campus recruitment, talent acquisition, or related field, preferably in a corporate setting
Experienced in managing and executing internship programs
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with recruitment software/tools
Must be able to work under pressure, to multi-task, and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Strong understanding of college recruiting best practices, campus engagement strategies, and student demographics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with students, university stakeholders, and internal teams
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Occasional day and overnight travel will be required for this role for recruitment fairs and events
