Outbound Sales Director

The Outbound Sales Director will lead the outbound sales function, driving new business growth by building and optimizing high-performance sales teams and defining effective go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing outbound teams, including SDRs and AEs
Develop, refine, and optimize outbound sales processes focused on cold outreach, multichannel engagement, and account qualification
Define and implement outbound go-to-market strategies for new customer segments (clubs, academies, associations, and more)
Collaborate with Marketing and Revenue leadership to ensure seamless execution across the funnel
Build structured onboarding, training, and development programs for outbound reps
Coach SDRs and AEs on outreach best practices: cold calling, email sequences, LinkedIn prospecting, and multichannel outreach
Establish team and individual KPIs focused on pipeline generation, outreach volume, conversion rates, and performance improvement
Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and data-driven decision-making
Leverage SaaS selling experience to guide reps in communicating product value and driving pipeline efficiency
Monitor and optimize outbound performance through key metrics (ARR/MRR impact, conversion rates, CAC, LTV, and churn-related insights)
Ensure team effectiveness with CRM tools (HubSpot), sales engagement platforms, and analytics dashboards
Use your understanding of sports-club operations and pain points—registration, payments, scheduling, communication, player development—to strengthen outreach messaging and positioning
Stay proactive in identifying market trends, competitive movements, and emerging opportunities
Provide feedback and insights to influence product strategy and market direction
Qualification
Required
Proven success leading outbound sales teams (SDRs + AEs) with at least 3+ years of leadership experience
Deep expertise in building and scaling outbound sales processes, especially cold outreach and pipeline generation
Strong background in SaaS B2B sales, ideally within app/software solutions
Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills with a talent for motivating teams
Strong business acumen and understanding of SaaS metrics and funnel dynamics
Highly organized, process-oriented, and data-driven in approach
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred
Experience selling into sports organizations or a deep understanding of the sports ecosystem is a strong plus
Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus
