Responsibilities
Perform assigned work for the SUNY SOC as they engage with campuses on penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
Participating in these tasks will provide learning opportunities about the cybersecurity practices at SUNY campuses and the offensive side of the cybersecurity discipline
Qualification
Required
Full-time students enrolled in an IT-related technical major at a SUNY campus
Access to a computer or laptop that can connect via secure remote access
Familiarity with Linux operating system and networking concepts
Applicants must be able to devote up to 20 hours per week over the course of a semester
Fundamental understanding of the Linux environment
