Responsibilities
Prepare and execute journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules including intercompany journal entries
Support month end close process including assisting with global consolidation process
Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances
Perform and document intercompany balance reconciliations, investigating variances, FX differences, and timing mismatches
Assist with compiling internal team requests and external audit requests
Research important accounting issues and suggest best practices and applications in accordance with accounting standards
Work cross functionally with tax, technical accounting and business systems teams
Establish accounting processes for consolidations and transfer pricing, including providing stakeholders with accounting requirements and setting up monthly accounting processes
Work with various departments to streamline data flow and processes
Assist with system automation projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3-5 years of total experience, preferably combined in public accounting and industry
Understanding of GAAP standards
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets
Preferred
Hands-on experience in the financial close process
Experience with foreign entity accounting and consolidations
