Lyons Electrical Project Manager

Government Administration

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical projects across commercial, industrial, or infrastructure sectors
Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans
Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, contractors, and vendors
Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Review electrical designs, specifications, and documentation for accuracy and feasibility
Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to provide updates and manage expectations
Conduct site visits to oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Manage procurement of electrical materials and equipment
Ensure projects meet quality standards and performance benchmarks

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field
5+ years of experience in electrical project management
Proven track record of managing complex electrical projects
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes (NEC, IEC), and construction practices
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
PMP or equivalent certification is a plus

Preferred

Experience in renewable energy, automation, or high-voltage systems
Familiarity with BIM workflows and sustainable design principles
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
