Mechanical Supervisor

Responsibilities

Supervises the daily activities of the maintenance team, including scheduling and delegating tasks
Oversees the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other critical building systems
Develops and implements preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment
Conducts regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Manages and coordinates mechanical maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety policies
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections

Required

An associate's degree is required
3-5 years of experience (Combination of experience and education will be considered)
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other mechanical systems
Excellent leadership, organizational skills, and communication skills
Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance
Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position
