Property and Casualty Claims Advocate II, Commercial Lines

The Property and Casualty Claims Advocate II facilitates client interactions with insurance carriers, monitors ongoing claims, and presents claim reviews while ensuring client concerns are addressed.
Responsibilities
Prepare and present claim reviews to clients on a periodic basis
Assist in Third Party Administrator (TPA) and insurance carrier selections
Ensures client questions / concerns are addressed by claims department or Third Party Administrator
Interact with clients by telephone and in person, on a periodic basis to deliver and gather information
Negotiates plans of actions and reserve reductions with insurers
Assist producers in conducting claim with clients and carriers
Analyze loss history to identify risk reduction strategies for producers
Attend sales presentations or renewal visits to present claims, programs for the reduction of risk, or loss information to insureds
Implement correction of errors of the carrier
Keep abreast of and apply a working knowledge of policy coverage in its application to property & casualty claims
Maintains accurate and organized claim files by appropriately documenting conversations with clients and carrier representatives; updates all HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems; ensures the accuracy of data
Seeks continued knowledge and stays abreast of changes in the insurance industry and other external conditions that may impact their clients
Makes appropriate recommendations to clients in response to those changes; Attends industry related continuing education training and courses
Responsible for accessing and utilization of all claims related carrier on- line systems
Performs other duties and projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma / GED
5-7 years property & casualty claims adjustment experience (brokerage preferred) or equivalent combination of education & experience
Property & Casualty License required or willingness to obtain within 3 months
2-5 years of relevant experience
Associate degree (2-year degree)
