Associate Vice President, Talent Development & Organizational Effectiveness
Hyland is a company focused on talent development and organizational effectiveness, and they are seeking a strategic leader for the Associate Vice President role. This position will drive the evolution of talent strategy, lead AI transformation, and enhance organizational culture and engagement.

Responsibilities
Develop and lead a comprehensive talent development strategy across the organization
Drive talent reviews, succession planning, and high-potential programs. Ensure strong talent pipeline and leadership bench across critical roles
Oversee performance management strategy, systems, and execution
Build and scale learning programs across all levels, from onboarding to executive development
Design leadership development frameworks, experiences, and academies
Create innovative and scalable learning and performance solutions and ecosystems
Lead the AI adoption strategy within People & Culture function and across the organization
Leverage AI-driven tools and platforms to personalize learning experiences, predict talent needs, and drive development at scale
Partner with HR Technology and Analytics to integrate AI capabilities into talent development, performance management, learning and engagement analytics
Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI to ensure that the organization remains innovative and future-ready
Partner with business leaders to support organizational design, change management, and transformation initiatives
Lead programs that enhance team effectiveness, agility, and cross-functional collaboration
Apply data, insights, and assessments to measure and drive organizational health
Lead engagement strategy, including surveys, insights, and action planning
Champion employee engagement efforts that reflect company values and business priorities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the employee experience. Drive increased employee engagement and retention
Oversee Hyland’s corporate giving campaigns in support of CSR efforts
Lead a high-performing team across talent development, learning and organizational effectiveness, culture & engagement functions
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CHRO, executives and a trusted partner to HR teams on talent, culture and AI transformation
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, Operations and Business Units to drive enterprise-wide initiatives
Qualification
Required
12+ years of progressive HR experience in Talent Development, Learning, Organizational Effectiveness, or related fields
5+ years in a senior leadership role, ideally within a mid-to-large company or high-growth SaaS environment
Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide learning, culture and talent development strategy
Proven experience driving AI transformation, digital enablement, or future work programs
Strong understanding of AI tools, analytics, and emerging technologies relevant to workforce transformation
Strong project leadership, business acumen, and change management capabilities
Familiarity with assessment tools, learning platforms, and performance systems
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
Master's or relevant certifications preferred
