Dual Branded People + Culture Manager | Hyatt Place + Hyatt House Ho'opili, HI
PM Hotel Group is seeking a Dual Branded People + Culture Manager for their Hyatt Place and Hyatt House locations. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth functioning within the property team and acting as a liaison between upper management and hotel employees, while also providing guidance and support.
Responsibilities
Provide assistance, guidance, and counseling to the General Manager, management staff and associates
Develop, implement and administer policies and programs related to the management of all associates to ensure the maintenance of a positive and productive employment environment
Direct and instruct the management staff in effective recruiting using methods such as verbal presentations and written directions to ensure the hiring and retention of qualified associates
Instruct employee training classes and make recommendations to the management staff for improvement
Qualification
Required
At least a bachelor's degree in human resources management, business management, a similar field, or comparable experience
At least 3 years' experience working in HR
Strong communication skills
Ability to work with members at all levels of the organization
Ability to embody and exemplify company culture
Preferred
Familiarity with various human resources programs such as compensation and benefits packages
Knowledge of local, state, and federal law
