Responsibilities
Ensure all event and rigging elements are executed according to Company standards
Assist with the rigging of overhead stage equipment including lighting, sound, automation, scenery and props, as needed
Comply with all Company security and safety protocols
Company will all Company policies and procedures
Inspect all rigging and audio visual equipment; notify Supervisor immediately if damage or unsafe situation exists
Ensure any lost, stolen or damaged equipment is immediately reported to Supervisor
Look for opportunities to enhance client’s event experience
Provide continued communication with Management to ensure success of all events
Follow through on all client requests
Ensure all Company occupied areas as clean, organized and up to Company standards
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate or equivalent
Minimum three (3) years' production/theatrical rigging experience
Prior exposure to audio visual and/or hospitality industry
Strong technical aptitude, including the use of rigging equipment and electric motors
Planning ability; able to plan prioritize
Adaptability; able to adapt effectively to change
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong team player orientation
Commitment to best-in-class customer service for internal and external stakeholders
Sit at a desk
Stand or walk for long periods, including up and down stairs
Consistently bend and stoop
Use hands to hold, handle, or feel
Reach with hands and arms
Talk, hear and communicate
Lift up to 75 - 100 pounds
Preferred
ETCP certification and/or Aerial Work Platform Certification
