Audio Visual Specialist

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) delivers high-impact technical solutions to complex national security issues. They are seeking an Audio Visual Specialist to provide technical oversight and operational support for AV systems in critical meeting and conference spaces across multiple locations. Responsibilities

The AV Specialist will be the first point of contact to resolve AV support requests submitted through the corporate ticketing system
Work under the guidance of the AV Manager and IT Program Manager to implement and maintain secure AV solutions
Lead less complex installation and repair efforts that can be performed with support of SPA’s End User Support Team
Local travel to regional offices to support installation and repair efforts including special events
Maintain room documentation to include user guides and equipment/material inventories
Perform preventative maintenance and spot checks of conference room AV systems

Required

US citizenship, High School Diploma, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance are required
Experience installing fully integrated AV systems, preferably video teleconferencing systems for medium to large sized conference rooms
Experience configuring USB connectivity to AV systems for use with soft-codec conferencing applications (e.g. MS Teams or Zoom)
Experience with direct end-user and/or customer support troubleshooting common AV issues
Exposure to operating and maintaining AV distribution systems with various degrees of complexity
Ability to regularly lift heavy equipment or materials (up to 50lbs)

Preferred

Experience working with Crestron Toolbox and QSC Designer
Manufacturer certifications from Crestron, QSC, Extron, Biamp or Shure
Familiarity configuring AV equipment via Crestron Toolbox and/or QSC Designer
