Electronics Technician - RF/Radar

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy. The Electronics Technician will perform duties primarily in an electronics lab, focusing on operating and maintaining radar and electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate radars and other electronic equipment on a daily basis
Maintain, sustain, and troubleshoot and repair analog and digital equipment used in radar transmitters, receivers, timing assemblies, data collection, and RF and digital transmission lines
Construct electronic and RF chassis using industry standard fabrication for techniques for wiring and packaging

Required

Education and/or training from an accredited college or technical school with courses in math, basic electronics, and microwave theory, or a military equivalent and 3 years of hands-on experience for Electronic Technician II
International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians (ISCET) certification for Electronic Technician II
Demonstrated proficiency in general electronics for Electronic Technician II
Good understanding of electronic, electro-mechanical, and computer systems for Electronic Technician II
Good understanding of test equipment used to maintain and repair equipment for Electronic Technician II
Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates, and/or high-power radio frequency (RF) devices for Electronic Technician II
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot to the component level and competency in soldering for Electronic Technician II
An associate's degree or higher from an accredited college; or technical schooling with courses in math, basic electronics, and microwave theory; or a military equivalent and a minimum of seven years of hands-on experience for Electronic Technician III
International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians (ISCET) certification for Electronic Technician III
Comprehensive knowledge in general electronics for Electronic Technician III
Demonstrated expertise in electronic, electro-mechanical, and computer systems and the test equipment used to maintain and repair equipment for Electronic Technician III
Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates, and/or high-power radio frequency (RF) devices for Electronic Technician III
Expert-level troubleshooting and soldering capabilities for Electronic Technician III
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
U.S. citizenship
Eligibility for a government security clearance, state-issued driver's license, or other licenses/certifications
