Senior Project Manager - Remediation

Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with the NY/NJ Remediation Area Manager and other teams within the Remediation department, and professionals within other AECOM internal business lines
Develop new business, including marketing and proposing to potential and existing clients, and be integral in the process of securing and managing clients and contracts
Act as Project Manager on large, complex projects, responsible for technical delivery, schedule management, fiscal management, client liaison, reporting requirements, and coordination with project team members
Coordinate and prepare written reports, work plans, and technical memorandums; analyze data and develop supported conclusions
Proactively identify opportunities to increase project efficiencies, improve technical methodologies and add value to client service offerings
Assist with development of junior staff through mentoring
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review
Preferred
Master's Degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
9+ years of experience in environmental investigations and site remediation
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
Seller-doer with business development and client management experience
Experience as a project manager and technical lead on remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remedial design, and remedial action oversight
Experience delivering remedial projects within the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection framework
Strong understanding of remediation system design, cost estimating, construction, and OM&M
Experience with the breadth of federal and local environmental laws, such as CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, etc
