Collision Technician, Tactical Response Team
Tesla is seeking an experienced Collision Technician to join their Collision Tactical Response Team, which supports factory initiatives and addresses high backlog locations. The role involves performing collision repairs according to factory specifications and requires regular travel to various locations.

Responsibilities
Responsible for following proper repair procedures and performs all procedures according to factory specifications
Use frame equipment for measuring and installing structural components and repair exterior cosmetic panels with metal finishing and body filler
Glue, rivet, and weld structural components
Remove and replace all parts associated with collision repair including body, mechanical, electrical, and trim components
Perform steel and aluminum welding operations: MIG / MAG / STRSW / Dent Puller
Adhere to all regulatory compliance guidelines for hazardous waste disposal while maintaining clean, orderly and organized work area
Comply with safety rules, guidelines and standards
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a Collision Repair Technician
Role is up to 75% travel, with the ability to support up to 3 consecutive weeks when deployed
Ability to travel with your own tools
Capable of seamlessly integrating with multiple different teams on wide variety of different technical repairs and processes
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and to work independently in limited supervision environments
Willingness to work overtime if required
