TRIUMPH is seeking an Assembly Test Technician to join their team in Windsor, CT. The role involves building and assembling components, ensuring product quality, and adhering to specifications and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

Builds and assembles components utilizing assembly test procedures, reading blueprints, and following written engineering instructions
Adheres to proper specifications for subassemblies and assemblies by using inspection equipment (OD and ID micrometers, height gages, dial calipers, etc.) and reading blueprints
Tests units in accordance with the Customer’s Acceptance Test Procedures and engineering written instructions
Meets productions deadlines by following correct procedures for product completion
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
Ensures product quality by testing assembled parts utilizing specifications and quality control procedures
Other duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma, or equivalent. Technical or vocational training desired
3 years in aviation maintenance, military or manufacturing
Strong mechanical aptitude with substantial acquaintance with and understanding of technical aspects of the job
Experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic assembly work
Work requires the ability to understand and follow instructions, the ability to concentrate and the ability to work as part of a team and get along with others
This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to attention to detail
