Responsibilities

Oversee specific vehicles from the attributes fleet, ensuring vehicle health, managing reworks, and handling hardware and software troubleshooting
Develop and manage test plans with the program attribute lead to ensure completion of development objectives
Coordinate vehicle transports, consumables planning, and communication with test facilities and workshops during testing activities
Execute standardized full vehicle tests in chassis, vehicle dynamics, and brakes, including objective characterization and subjective evaluation
Collaborate with attributes program managers and leads to align vehicle test plans with design team release schedules
Set up instrumentation equipment such as accelerometers, damper pots, IMUs, steering and pedal actuators, and wheel force transducers
Conduct component-level testing, including operation of test rigs and basic data analysis

Required

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive test engineering
Proficiency in vehicle instrumentation and data analysis using industry-standard tools
Experience with vehicle dynamics post-processing coding environments
Familiarity with MoTeC or similar data logging and analysis platforms

Preferred

Experience with MS Project and Jira
