Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market. The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for strategic sourcing and category management in the Indirect Procurement organization, working closely with various business units to manage third-party relationships and drive efficiencies in procurement processes.

Responsibilities

Support various departments in the procurement of engineering and professional services (with a focus on large-scale commercial partnerships for business operations)
Support and inform internal stakeholders for supplier selection and management
Identify sourcing alternatives to drive efficiencies via benchmarking, competitive quotes, and engineering changes
Negotiate the cost and other terms and conditions of such purchases by collaborating with the stakeholders and legal team
Ensure a smooth procure-to-pay process by working with the stakeholders and finance team

Required

8+ years of experience in procurement, program management, finance, consulting, or business development in a technology-related industry
Bachelor's degree
Experience with strategic sourcing, financial and business opportunity analysis, legal frameworks and contract negotiation
Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders
Organizational skills to manage and track transactional details
