Project Coordinator

Orbis International is a non-profit organization focused on improving eye care globally. The Project Coordinator role involves supporting the Director of Development and coordinating logistics for the Flying Eye Hospital project, including event planning and volunteer management.

Responsibilities

Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and manage communications with authorities
Plan and execute logistics for events and training (clinical, immigration, transport, accommodation, catering)
Liaise between Orbis teams and local stakeholders
Recruit and manage volunteers; maintain volunteer database
Handle event invitations, VIP coordination, and documentation of attendance
Maintain media and influencer lists; coordinate interviews and coverage
Prepare bilingual collateral (press releases, signage, brochures)
Manage social media content and website updates related to the project
Support awareness-building for the project
Provide on-site support during events
Submit monthly and post-project reports
Assist in fundraising, donor inquiries, and promotional activities
Perform other tasks as needed

Required

University degree majoring in business, marketing or related disciplines
At least 5 years of solid experience in events organization and logistics, with proven experience in administration, marketing and communications
Attentive to details, with good organizational and time management skills
Enthusiastic, with patient and courteous manners
Creative and able to work independently with limited resources and under pressure
Good team player with a strong sense of responsibility and personal integrity
Able to multitask and prioritize
Is passionate to work for a non-profit, charity organization
Good communications, presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate others
Willing to work outdoor and with flexible schedule
Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese

Preferred

Mandarin is a plus
