Responsibilities
Developing and owning the architectural vision for AI agent adoption within Oracle Databases
Designing scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures for cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven systems
Leading architecture and design reviews, proofs of concept, and complex problem-solving initiatives
Partnering with engineering teams to ensure architectural integrity, solution quality, and adherence to best practices
Establishing, advocating for, and enforcing best practices for system performance, reliability, security, and regulatory compliance
Providing technical mentorship and thought leadership across engineering teams (no direct people management)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven record in system and platform architecture
Hands-on experience with AI, conversational AI, or intelligent automation systems
Expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)
Experience with developer platforms, SDKs, or APIs
Strong understanding of developer experience principles, including documentation, onboarding, and test environments
Solid knowledge of security, authentication/authorization, and API management best practices
Preferred
Master's degree
Experience with enterprise SaaS solutions is highly desirable

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
