Responsibilities

Inspection, analysis, and determination of root causes of structure and building performance problems
Reviewing the design of structures according to applicable codes and standards
Conducting computer analysis of structural systems
Performing field investigations and diagnostic surveys
Preparing technical reports and presentations
Continued professional development towards establishing professional expertise

Required

A Ph.D. in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related engineering field is strongly preferred. M.S. degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field will be considered only with significant relevant work experience
P.E., S.E. license or the ability to become licensed within two years in at least one state
Creative problem-solving ability
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams
Strong desire to work in a fast-paced consulting environment
