Responsibilities
Document management and control: Identify, save, archive, and distribute project documentation (plans, sketches, specifications). Includes maintaining files and documents, hard copies and electronic, in a detailed manner
Maintain and update Contract Document Logs
Draft, submit, and track all RFI’s and distribute as appropriate
Prepare and maintain the submittal and procurement log
Comprehend customer needs and consistently look for ways to support them
Complete quantity take-offs and estimates as needed
Solicit and obtain bids from subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers
Ability to schedule projects and meet planned deadlines
Analyze cost tracking
Working knowledge of liens, contracts, retainage, etc
Participating in weekly Project Meetings, giving updates on progress and budget, taking notes and distribute minutes afterward
Ability to read, analyze and make drawings
Must be able to build business relationships with clients and vendors
Miscellaneous duties as required
Qualification
Required
Education: College Degree, preferred with major in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
Specialized knowledge: Procore, AutoCAD, HCSS, Agtek and Microsoft Office (Including MS Project)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Other characteristics such as personal characteristics
