Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components
Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and record types
Implement automation using Flow, Process Builder, and custom Apex logic
Develop scalable solutions using Salesforce best practices and design patterns
Maintain documentation of all custom code and system changes
Build and maintain integrations with external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and web services
Manage Salesforce deployments and version control using tools such as Git, Copado, or Gearset
Support data migration efforts, including ETL processes and bulk data operations
Monitor system logs and troubleshoot integration and performance issues
Ensure compliance with security standards and coding best practices
Translate requirements into technical solutions/designs, prototypes
Provide development support for application environments, manage sandboxes, and work within release cycles to get applications to users in a timely manner
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues using input from other technical teams and customer personnel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Relevant work experience would be considered as a potential substitute
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required)
5+ years of Salesforce development experience
Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce
Strong experience in Salesforce integrations and middleware tools
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment pipelines
Proven track record of delivering scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions
Experience in an agile development environment
Active Secret security clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen
Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers
Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergencies
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
