Manager, Accounting and Consolidations (Dallas)

The Manager, Accounting and Consolidations will oversee financial transactions, manage month-end close processes, and lead financial analysis to support business performance and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Thorough review of journal entries and reconciliations, following up with requestors for any additional support or understandings if necessary
Oversee and refine month-end close processes, procedures, including accounting for intercompany transactions, foreign currency translation, remeasurements, and global chart of accounts maintenance
Participate in monthly global consolidations and intercompany eliminations processes
Lead financial analysis to assess business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for leadership
Assist the daily activities and the career development of team members, including hiring, coaching, reviewing work, establishing goals and performance management of team members as required
Identify areas for process improvement and efficiencies, and drive solutions focusing on regional and global standardization
Assist other team members' daily responsibilities as a backup when necessary
Participate in the year end financial statement audit process
Ensure policies and processes are well documented, updated, applied consistently and broadly
Maintain a great working relationship with all business partners. Provide accounting policies, process, and training to staff and business partners as required
Assist in various cross-functional projects and participate in various ad-hoc special projects as assigned

Required

Minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant and related work experience, at least 3 years in consolidation
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience
Experience managing small to midsized teams, functional areas, and supervisors
Strong project management/organizational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
Creative problem solver with an ability to think strategically and present information in a concise fashion

Preferred

Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, Floqast highly desired
Experience with SaaS a plus
Public accounting experience
