Logical Access Review Analyst

The Logical Access Review Analyst will be responsible for managing user access reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining accurate access data across systems.

Responsibilities
Extract user access lists directly from systems, or coordinate with application, system, database, or network support teams to acquire complete and up-to-date access data
Conduct quarterly or semi-annual reviews of user and privileged account access, depending on regulatory scope (e.g., PCI DSS-scope systems require quarterly review)
Ensure review completeness by covering all in-scope systems, and timely completion according to the established schedule
Validate accuracy by cross-referencing access data with authoritative sources, such as updated employee master lists from HR
Check for access anomalies, including dormant accounts, excessive privileges, Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts, and accounts that should have been deactivated
Review custody and ownership of service accounts, ensuring each account has a valid, identifiable custodian
Notify users or account custodians of non-compliance, such as outdated access keys or missing Multi-Factor Authentication, and follow up until corrective actions are completed
Coordinate escalations for missed offboarding, excessive access, or incomplete reviews in accordance with defined escalation tiers and procedures
Maintain thorough documentation of review results, evidence, communications, and actions taken, in support of audit and compliance requirements
Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to access control policy and procedure updates
Use tools such as Looker Studio, Google Sheets, AppScript, and compliance dashboards for analytics, reporting, and monitoring is good to have but not required
