Responsibilities
Serve as a key member of a small, tight-knit real estate advisory group
Collaborate with pod members, internal teams, and clients to ensure timely, accurate deliverables
Support clients using Sage Intacct and Yardi for accounting processes
Manage recurring monthly tasks for multiple clients, including:
Bank reconciliations
Credit card reconciliations
Accounts receivable and accounts payable processing
Perform monthly and quarter-end close processes
Prepare quarterly financial statements
Prepare documentation and schedules for audit readiness
Reconcile accounts, review transactions, and ensure data accuracy
Leverage Sage Intacct and Yardi for client accounting and reporting
Adapt quickly to evolving processes and systems
Contribute to improving efficiency and organization within the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
At least 1 year of accounting experience, with an emphasis on financial reporting and general ledger management
Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in accounting softwares and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred
CPA certification preferred but not required
Experience in the commercial real estate industry is preferred
