Responsibilities

Lead and manage all warehouse and receiving operations, including receiving and internal logistics, material handling, and inventory control
Supervise and develop a team across various roles; ensure proper staffing, training, and performance management
Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); ensure real-time data integrity and traceability
Oversee the safe and compliant storage of raw materials, components, and finished goods in accordance with medical device regulations
Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to support manufacturing schedules
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce waste, and improve service levels leveraging LEAN manufacturing principles and implementation
Ensure compliance with company policies, FDA regulations, and other applicable guidelines
Monitor KPIs and generate reports on inventory accuracy, receiving performance, and warehouse productivity
Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, transportation providers, and other key stakeholders as needed to align and deliver on operational strategies. Promote collaboration and communication across departments to resolve issues and streamline processes
Team Leadership & Development; Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence
Manage and lead workforce activities for function, to include the development and implementation of training plans which support and maximize workforce capability. ensure skills and knowledge of staff align with needs, and ensure organizational structure supports functional requirements. Manage labor issues, coaching, and counseling for workforce as needed. Ensure any employment actions are timely and adherent to legal requirements. Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and development plans for team members
Drive and ensure a high level of employee relations and engagement for the area. Drive a culture of fairness, consistency, and servant- leadership. Implement and sustain meaningful engagement. Ensure daily connection with staff, maintain presence in functional areas, and be available to assist if needed. Provide coaching and constructive feedback to all direct reports with monthly 1-1 meetings. Conduct Roundtable meetings new members under your organization, including quarterly meetings with floor leaders and every 6 months with all hourly/other team members
Ensure the assigned functional area operates and adheres to expected safety standards, ensure staff have all required safety certifications and training, drive accountability to safety requirements, support safety initiatives, and drive continuous improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment or comparable manufacturing leadership experience; managing large-scale inventory processes and strategies, and leading cross-functional teams
Managerial experience directing and developing a large staff encompassing non-exempt, clerical, technical, and professional staff. Experience managing and developing other leaders
Strong business acumen, understanding of key financial and business KPI's
Lean Six Sigma certification or experience with continuous improvement methodologies
Strong communication skills, effective and professional writing skills, effective and professional verbal communication
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
