Responsibilities

Lead the sales department, including oversight of current sales staff, performance management, and development

Review incoming leads, assign projects to the sales team, and ensure timely follow-up

Accurately estimate and price paving and asphalt projects using company standards and historical data

Approve and finalize bids prior to submission to ensure accuracy, profitability, and competitiveness

Analyze project specifications, drawings, and site information to prepare detailed cost estimates

Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals and profitability targets

Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer feedback to optimize bid strategies

Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure alignment between estimates, contracts, and project delivery

Maintain accurate records of bids, proposals, and sales performance metrics

Report to ownership on sales forecasts, pipeline, and department performance
