Responsibilities

Lead engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure

Lead engineering planning and design projects

Prepare reports

Develop plans and specifications

Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects

System modeling

Permitting and alternative analysis

Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables

Data entry and analysis

Provide engineering services during construction

Participate in field activities such as pilot testing

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering

8+ years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater or infrastructure engineering

Registration as a Professional Engineer in Utah

Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Can lead and direct a team efficiently

Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting

Client facing and can foster strong relationships

Preferred

Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering

Has shown experience in Project Management level for small to mid-level projects with low to medium complexity
