Responsibilities
Exercise and promote proper safety practices at all times
Assist in the installation and assembly of warehouse racking and storage systems
Communicate effectively with management regarding scheduling and team coordination
Utilize a variety of tools properly and efficiently to optimize productivity
Apply sound decision-making and problem-solving skills on the job
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve installation goals
This role involves a high-volume workload with occasional shift changes and may require travel based on project locations
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in Material Handling Equipment (MHE) installation and/or construction is required
Valid driver's license and good driving history required
Ability to properly operate and utilize a variety of tools and heavy equipment
Ability to stand for extended periods, climb, kneel, and lift up to or in excess of 50 lbs. regularly
Preferred
Knowledge of warehousing, distribution, pallet rack design, and material handling equipment is preferred
Safety training and/or equipment operation certifications are a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members, customers, vendors, and subcontractors
Willingness to learn and be coached on new skills
