Responsibilities

Establish, maintain, and continuously improve project control systems, including document management, change management, and performance measurement frameworks
Ensure compliance with corporate project management standards, internal controls, and relevant government regulations
Collaborate closely with Accounting, Compliance, and Contracts to ensure projects align with contractual terms, audit requirements, and cost accounting standards
Develop and maintain compliance tracking tools and dashboards to monitor project performance and reporting accuracy
Partner with internal and external auditors, providing documentation and data to support audit and review processes
Track project timelines, labor codes, access requirements, and cost vouchers against established contract baselines
Prepare and analyze monthly audit and performance reports, identifying key variances, risks, and improvement opportunities
Conduct trend and variance analysis to support decision-making and optimize indirect cost allocations and budget performance
Provide risk assessments and recommendations to project teams to support proactive risk management and mitigation strategies
Support the continuous improvement of pricing and cost management processes across the organization
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by preparing, maintaining, and verifying all project setups, task details, cost codes, and employee access to projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, project management, or related discipline and a minimum of four years of prior relevant experience
Proven experience as a Project Control Analyst or in a similar role within a project-based environment, particularly government contracting or other compliance-related industry
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Able to work both autonomously (self-guided) and as an integral team member in a highly dynamic work environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software, particularly Excel
Must have a United States Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a United States Security Clearance

Preferred

Experience interfacing with Capture and Program organizations
Experience working on competitive and sole source, FFP, and CPFF programs $50 Million and up
