HR Compliance Analyst
Related Companies is a prominent privately owned real estate firm in the United States, headquartered in New York City. The HR Compliance Analyst will ensure adherence to laws and regulations while identifying compliance risks, supporting policy implementation, and managing various compliance-related tasks.

Responsibilities
Monitor new and existing employment laws and regulations
Maintain compliance calendar and tracker (e.g., statutory deadlines and effective dates)
Gather data and ensure accuracy for regulatory reports
Oversee labor law poster process (e.g., ordering posters, coordinating with business stakeholders, and processing invoices)
Coordinate OSHA and workers’ compensation poster process with internal stakeholders
Support policy review and implementation
Draft memos for HR Business Partners and Payroll in accordance with state and/or local law
Assist with vetting and onboarding third party vendors
Monitor and track third party vendor invoices against budgets
Support employee background check compliance processes
Assist with the development of clear and engaging training content on evolving regulations and policy refreshers for internal stakeholders
Provide general support for compliance-specific projects (e.g., self-audits, tracking deadlines and responses, organizing meetings, and initiating follow up)
Prepare and distribute litigation hold notices
Draft separation agreements and letters
Track payment deadlines
Pull employee files in response to subpoenas and other requests
Partner with HR Operations/Talent Acquisition teams on I-9 and visa-related work authorization compliance processes
Monitor and track regulatory changes affecting visa holders
Assist with self-audits for I-9/visa paperwork
Coordinate I-9/visa training with immigration counsel and internal stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 2-4+ years of experience in HR compliance
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and shift direction easily
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work across all levels within the organization
Professional, diplomatic, and comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
Self-starter, resourceful, and able to work independently and collaboratively
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
