Account Executive, Federal
Qualys is seeking a US Federal Government Account Executive to lead all sales activities across a set of federal agencies. The role involves managing strategic account plans and fostering relationships with key stakeholders to secure enterprise-wide deployments of Qualys solutions.

Responsibilities
Identify and create net new business pipeline
Create value-based presentations to promote solutions, upgrades and cross-sells
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients while collaborating with technical account manager solution architect and technical support
Convey customer requirements and use cases to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams
Collaborate and foster strategic relationships with channel partners
Manage and complete the subscription renewal cycle
Eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
Accurately manage and communicate quarterly and full year forecast
Qualification
Required
Self-motivated with strong knowledge in the cybersecurity or SaaS markets
Organized, detail oriented and drives sales execution
Knowledge in variety of federal compliance and procurement processes
Strong presentation skills and able to communicate professionally in response to emails, RFIs, RFPs
Comfortable interacting at all levels within customer organizations, i.e., from C-level to front-line technical staff
5+ years relevant experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to travel throughout sales territory
