Responsibilities

Build and/or implement a daily operations plan using complex software and hardware systems
Obtain/maintain technical knowledge of a large repository of formal procedures with the responsibility to accurately select and apply the correct procedure(s) depending on the specific scenario at hand
Obtain/apply technical knowledge on various hardware subsystems
Document discrepancies as they occur. Implement workarounds and contingency plans to minimize impacts of system anomalies
Contribute to the testing, readiness, training, and implementation of new ground software deliveries
Crosstrain in other operator positions as assigned and assist with training of other personnel on the contract team
Support test activities as necessary
Availability of working overtime and non-scheduled call-in

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience
Experience implementing and following technical instructions, processes, and procedures
An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance

Preferred

Experience working a rotating shift schedule
Working in a virtual team environment
Proficient use of both Windows and UNIX platform
Experience with Perl, Python, VBA, and/or other scripting languages
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
