Responsibilities
Build client relationships throughout the target geography to drive growth of the business
Lead business development efforts through the identification and capture of the services listed above
Interface with innovative stormwater, water quality, and planning partners to leverage new technologies and approaches for the benefit of our clients
Lead the execution of water resources projects and act as Project Manager for services including the following:
Planning and/or design of stormwater improvements, including open channels, storm sewer systems, and stormwater detention/retention and retrofit facilities
Planning and/or design of green infrastructure and sustainable watershed measures, including structural BMPs
Planning and/or design of flood mitigation improvements, including dams, levees, reservoirs, and pump stations
Erosion and sediment control planning and design, including SWPPP development
Regulatory compliance and permitting efforts for USACE, FEMA, and other environmental permit submittals
Scenario planning efforts for SSO, stormwater, and TMDL compliance projects
The application of sophisticated watershed and receiving stream H&H and water quality models
Development of stormwater master plans and watershed management plans
Planning efforts related to supply diversification, collection/distribution system expansions and rehab and repair, etc
Qualification
Required
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
Minimum of 5 years related work experience
P.E. - Registered Professional Engineer
Preferred
15+ years of water resources planning and design experience
Experience developing and executing planning and water resource projects
Have proficiency with some or all of the following applications and models: HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA/XP-SWMM, InfoWorks, EFDC, CFD, ArcGIS, StormWise (ICPR)
Experience with regulatory requirements and procedures
Drive client-facing/business development efforts
