Bronco Wine Co. is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee day-to-day accounting operations. The role includes supervising accounting staff, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting audits while maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks

Prepare month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

Assist with month-end financial statement preparation (Income Statement, Balance Sheet)

Perform annual accounting accruals and reconciliations for tax return preparation

Produce reports for management on assigned company activities

Lead special projects and analyses as required

Serve as a resource for less-experienced accountants

Work with auditors, customers, and vendors as a representative of Bronco Wine

Review purchase order coding and maintain vendor accounts

Assist with year-end reports related to suppliers for Directors and Ownership review

Maintain and verify assets in Fixed Asset Software

Hold bi-weekly department meetings and attend weekly managers’ meetings

Assist Controller and Assistant Controller with staff performance evaluations

Ensure compliance with ISO9001, HACCP, and GMP standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

5–6 years of accounting experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Tier I or II ERP systems

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Knowledge of auditing principles, internal controls, and standard costing practices in manufacturing/winery operations

Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make decisions independently

Leadership skills to guide, evaluate, and develop accounting staff
