The successful candidate will be dedicated to teaching and mentoring students, contributing to curriculum development, and engaging in service to the university and community.

Responsibilities

Deliver courses in the undergraduate finance major and related areas in the MBA program, including corporate finance, investments and portfolio management, and financial statement analysis. May support other programs in the School of Business, to include Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Media and Communication, and Marketing
Contribute to curriculum development and experiential learning opportunities
Actively engage in service to the School of Business, University, and broader community
Participate in program assessment, accreditation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain an active program of scholarship and professional engagement

Qualification

Ph.D. in FinancePh.D. in Economics18+ graduate hours in financeExcellence in teaching

Required

Ph.D. in Finance, or Ph.D. in Economics from an accredited institution
Candidate must have 18+ graduate hours in finance
Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college or university level
