Responsibilities
Initiate, on a daily basis, a large volume of outbound phone calls to existing members to follow up on referrals and cross-selling opportunities from other departments, branches and electronic channels
Educate and cross-sell members on the company’s deposit, consumer and mortgage loan and debit and credit card product and service offerings that can help them meet and exceed their financial needs
Occasionally assist with in-bound member service calls dealing with routine member account inquiries and transactions on an overflow basis
Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members
Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union’s products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union’s policies and procedures and current promotions
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to make outbound phone calls to existing members
Experience in cross-selling deposit and loan products and services
Ability to educate members on financial products and services
Experience in handling inbound member service calls
Ability to collaborate with colleagues across departments
Understanding of compliance with Federal and State laws and Credit Union regulations
Ability to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union's products and services
