Responsibilities
Analyze, design, implement, and maintain the network’s F5 Load Balancer infrastructure
Inspect data packets and TCP/IP flow in network and application flow
Provide architecture/engineering expertise for new implementations, cloud environments, integrations, and project designs
Offer technical support necessary for security compliance initiatives
Create highly available and complex network solutions in both data centers and cloud environments
Assist in automation and delegation to tier 1 resources
Design, implement, and maintain networks that support business applications, including both internal and external networks
Troubleshoot and document networks, ensuring all new products are installed properly, configured correctly, and tested before being put into production
Make decisions regarding security issues, such as protecting data and implementing encryption
Perform maintenance on equipment, such as replacing old routers or installing software patches
Provide technical assistance to users and training to employees
Document the operation of the company’s network by writing reports and creating diagrams
Help plan upgrades to the company’s network and work closely with other departments
Qualification
Required
5+ years of work experience
In-depth knowledge of protocols, designs, and configuration of data center and network infrastructure related to load balancing solutions
Experience with F5 Access Policy Manager (APM)
Ability to analyze, design, implement, and maintain the network's F5 Load Balancer infrastructure
Ability to inspect data packets and TCP/IP flow in network and application flow
