The Project Engineer – Substation Design will execute complex substation designs, collaborate with experienced engineers, and ensure the quality of deliverables while engaging with clients to meet project expectations.

Responsibilities

Execute the design of high voltage substations (15 kV to 500 kV) in design software

Implement client standards and applicable design codes and specifications related to design requirements

Coordinate drawing development and CAD-based design tasks

Collaborate with experienced engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing while continuing to grow technical expertise

Accountable for the quality of your deliverables and for supporting peer reviews to uphold team standards

Engage with clients to clarify technical requirements, contribute to project updates, and ensure alignment with expectations

Execute project tasks independently within established scope, schedule, and budget parameters

Participate in occasional site walks for current projects. Less than 5% travel
