Salesforce Technical Architect
Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of multiple Salesforce CRM solutions. This role is critical to delivering secure, scalable, and mission-aligned cloud solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) customers.
Responsibilities
Leading the technical architecture, design, and implementation of the team’s Salesforce platforms
Translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices
Designing and developing components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
Architecting and managing integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, MuleSoft, and other middleware technologies
Collaborating with cross functional teams, including developers, analysts, and government stakeholders, is essential to ensure technical alignment and delivery excellence
Documenting solution architecture, providing guidance throughout the development lifecycle, and ensuring security compliance with the Authority to Operate (ATO) for all deployed features and enhancements
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering and twelve years of work-related experience
Extensive experience in Salesforce architecture and solution design
Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and integration technologies
Salesforce Certified Application Architect certification
Strong understanding of secure cloud environments and DoD compliance standards
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Experience in professional software development environment
Experience with Agile methodologies
U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level
Preferred
Experience designing secure, scalable, and modular solutions within Salesforce
Ability to architect data models, security frameworks, and role hierarchies for complex environments
Hands-on experience with Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP, and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft)
Ability to design and manage integrations with external systems (legacy databases)
Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, and DoD cloud security standards
Experience implementing data encryption, access controls, and audit-ready configurations
Skilled in creating technical specifications, integration blueprints, and deployment plans
Ability to lead technical workshops, design reviews, and architecture governance
Salesforce Certified System Architect (highly desirable)
Additional certifications like Sales Cloud Consultant, Integration Architect, or Development Lifecycle Architect are strong differentiators
Familiar with Air Force personnel and recruiting systems
