Responsibilities
Application Migration: Convert legacy desktop .NET applications (WinForms/WPF) into scalable, secure, and responsive web applications
Web Development: Design and develop web-based solutions using ASP.NET Core, C#, and modern front-end frameworks
Integration: Implement APIs and services to integrate with internal systems and third-party platforms
Performance Optimization: Ensure applications meet high standards for performance, security, and reliability
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals
Testing & Deployment: Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and support deployment in cloud or on-prem environments
Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation for migrated and new applications
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional .NET development experience
Prior experience in application migration projects is a plus
Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
Experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with WinForms/WPF for understanding legacy systems
Knowledge of SQL Server and database design
Experience with front end - HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Blazor
Preferred
Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Exposure to investment management, financial services, or similar regulated industries is highly desirable
Experience with microservices architecture
Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Knowledge of security best practices for financial applications
