Responsibilities

Work directly with principals and partners to assess, analyze and develop a methodology to address our clients’ most important strategic initiatives
Project manage consulting engagements with accelerated timeframes that are research intensive and require strong teamwork
Source insights from conducting interviews of leading industry stakeholders, mining existing information sources and leveraging FMI’s 70+ years of experience servicing the leading organizations in the industry
Develop compelling presentations and reports that tell a story to deliver strategic insight
Engage with executive-level leadership at our client organizations to deliver the findings and recommendations of our engagements
Actively engage in thought leadership development to support FMI’s point of view in the industry

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or information systems
Minimum of 5-7 years of professional services experience with strong consultative skills
Exceptional project management and experience leading a team in a fast-paced consulting environment
Entrepreneurial spirit, strong emotional intelligence and track record of accomplishment
Proven leadership skills and the ability to exercise sound independent judgment in an ambiguous environment
Team oriented nature and ability to provide support and guidance to early tenure professionals
Time management skills, ability to manage competing priorities, and an ability to execute at a high-level under tight time constraints
Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Preferred

MBA or an equivalent master's degree from an accredited top-tier college or university
Prior strategy consulting and M&A consulting experience
Private equity, investment banking or other M&A disciplines
