Gray Construction is currently looking for a Site Safety Intern for the Summer of 2026. The role involves performing various departmental and field assignments, participating in field safety walks, and overseeing the safety and health of personnel working on jobsites.

Responsibilities

Perform various departmental and field assignments
Participate in field safety walks
Assist team members with various duties assigned
Oversee safety and health of personnel working on jobsites
Providing corrective action recommendations
Update various records, files and procedures, as assigned
Participate in various job related activities as assigned
Other duties may be assigned
Overtime may be required

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled in a 4 year degree in Occupational Safety and Health or other related field of study
Excellent verbal and written communication
Knowledge of construction safety and OSHA requirements
Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office software and e-mail
We need an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development

Preferred

Previous Safety internship experience is a plus
