They are seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to assist with project planning, design, and construction for the infrastructure market in San Diego and Southern California.

Responsibilities

Conceptual and preliminary design activities including site visits, overseeing field work, alternatives analysis, and report preparation

Design of water and wastewater infrastructure pipeline projects

Perform hydraulic calculations needed to size and select project facilities

Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates for various infrastructure projects

Assist with coordinating work of other discipline engineers, designers, modelers, technicians, and others assisting with project work

Review contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications and evaluate requests for information as part of engineering services during construction

Required

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to apply critical thinking to develop options and recommendations for pipeline projects

Ability to provide constructability review for pipeline design projects

Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint

10-15 years of pipeline experience

Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas

Preferred

20+ years of experience in pipeline design and construction

Proficiency in Microstation

Proficiency in ArcMap

Proficiency in InfoWater
