Responsibilities
Focus is switchgear projects for commercial construction, commercial facilities, and OEMs
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams
Designing and drawing Switchboards/ Panelboards
Reviewing outgoing engineering submittal drawings for technical and contractual accuracy
Evaluating and interpreting customer specifications and drawings to create an accurate bill of materials
Providing phone support and direct interaction with customers and employees to obtain sales
Reviewing returned drawings and submittals of same, analyzing and processing mark-up/comments, and communicating changes to the internal and external stakeholders
Review contract documents, interpret technical specifications to ensure product compliance, and prepare change order pricing and quotations if needed
Coordinate and facilitate the completion of Short Circuit and Coordination Studies
Releasing equipment for production and delivery to an in-house shop
Coordinating deliveries with customers
Enter orders into the company ERP software system
Configure and order long lead time major materials/components for the project
Perform visits to survey site layout and logistical challenges as needed
Provide post-sales support for equipment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
3+ years within the industry
Thorough knowledge of electrical power systems
Good knowledge of Industry UL standards and NEC standards
Proficiency with MS Excel
Ability to collaborate with team members
