Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing

The Transfer Pricing Manager will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of global transfer pricing strategies, ensuring compliance with OECD guidelines and collaborating cross-functionally to optimize pricing and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Responsibilities
Design and maintain global transfer pricing policies aligned with OECD standards and evolving international tax frameworks (e.g., BEPS 2.0, Pillar Two)
Lead the development of intercompany pricing models for tangible goods, services, royalties, and intellectual property
Oversee the preparation of Master Files, Local Files, and Country-by-Country Reports
Manage quarterly and annual transfer pricing calculations and true-ups across global entities
Coordinate with cost accounting and FP&A teams to validate cost bases and ensure accurate markups and allocations
Supervise ERP postings (e.g., SAP) for intercompany transactions and ensure financial control compliance
Identify and mitigate transfer pricing risks related to IP transfers, intercompany flows, and policy misalignment
Provide audit defense support and coordinate with external advisors on MAP, APA, and litigation strategies
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company’s transfer pricing framework
Collaborate with regional tax, finance, and treasury teams to ensure timely billing and documentation
Educate business units on transfer pricing impacts and promote accuracy in cost structures and burden rates
Build relationships across departments to support tax planning and operational alignment
Serve as a key liaison with external advisors and tax authorities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Taxation
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in transfer pricing, preferably in a global manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of OECD guidelines, BEPS initiatives, and local tax regulations
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
Preferred
Manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle and Great Plains preferred)
Experience with Alteryx workflows and data modeling is a plus
