Responsibilities

You’ll work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders going from idea to implementation as well as contributing to internal Cloud Engineering best practices, standards and code repos; enabling Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to take ownership of their cloud deployments

You’ll proactively contribute to Faculty’s growth by working with our customers to recommend how they can leverage Cloud infrastructure to solve their problems

Be involved with the project life cycle from idea generation to shipping

Actively look out for the best open source technologies to be used in the development of Faculty's infrastructure

Create and maintain reusable libraries that are used company-wide

Qualification

Required

demonstrable experience in system design and solution architecture using one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)

GitOps

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform

CI/CD, for example ArgoCD, Gitlab Pipelines, CircleCI

Containerisation and deployment with Docker and Kubernetes

Networking proficiency, IP networking, TCP, HTTP

Cloud security proficiency: privilege access, security groups, isolated networks

experience in working directly with clients and end users to conduct: Requirements Gathering, Technical Planning and Scoping

drive to learn new technologies and novel applications of existing technologies
